Tyler’s Letter from MTC – 2015/08/10

Me getting ready – yep a selfie…

I’m so glad to hear that the family is doing well and that you are all having fun!  I am having fun too, but a very very busy kind of fun!  To be completely honest the days feel very long, and things haven’t exactly been super easy, but I will continue to rely on the Lord and forget about myself in service for other people.  That is where happiness lies, in devoting our time to helping other people just as the Savior would.  As we follow his example, that is the way we can understand our true potential and what he wants for us.  I am so grateful for the opportunity I have had to be in the MTC, but I am ready and excited to head out to the field and begin teaching and proselyting “for realsies.”

I’m also glad to know that other people are interested and reading the blog and that all of that is going well.  Tell everyone I love them and will keep sending updates and all of that awesome stuff.
We are eating well (as you can see).

  1. Grandma & Grandpa Breinholt

Just wanted to send you an email and let you know how proud we are of you and your desire to serve the Lord as a Missionary. We just watched the blog update that your dad sent to us. We enjoyed it very much. It sounds like the real fun is about to begin. But don’t eat all the goodies you listed on you blog or you might get sick as a dog. And by the way where are your Oreo’s?

We just got back last Saturday from a Danish Missionary Reunion that we have attended for over 50 years. We are still the same in some regards but looks are not one them. We used to be young and slim and trim, but we are not going to comment on what we are now. Knock um dead with your talents and testimony. Many of them are waiting for you to come to provide them with something they will never forget and will bless both them and you forever. It will be an experience you will never but never forget. Love Grandma and Grandpa Breinholt.
